Founder and principal lawyer, Nan Berezowski, BA, LL.B is a Canadian lawyer (Ontario) and a US Attorney-at-Law (New York). Ms Berezowski has provided US and Canadian immigration law advice to companies, law firms, small businesses and professionals for more than a decade. Her clients include Information Technology companies, plane and automobile manufacturers, financial and educational institutions, clothing designers, artists, actors and a host of professionals and their families.

Ms Berezowski is a frequently published text book author, magazine and journal contributor and ad hoc adviser to government and industry. She is co-author of Carswell’s Canada Practice Guide (Immigration) "Citizenship" and contributing author of Carswell’s "Work Permits and Visas ". She has chaired numerous conferences and published and presented over 40 papers on US and Canadian immigration for organizations including the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Law Society of Upper Canada, The Canadian Bar Association (CBA), The International Bar Association (IBA), the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA), the American Chamber of Commerce in Canada (AMCHAM), Insight Information and the American Bar Association (ABA). Her work has been cited by the Supreme Court of Canada and she is regularly interviewed for radio, television and print.

Ms Berezowski is committed to delivering immigration advice within the larger context - whether corporate assignment and relocation, business and tax considerations, or family reunification. She has been a Board Member of the Canadian Employer Relocation Counsel (CERC) for the past three years and is an active Canadian International Relocation Network (CIRN) member; through her involvement in these organizations she has developed a large network of professional contacts who provide immigration related services including real estate, banking, financing, moving, school placement and tax advice.

Ms Berezowski is also involved with immigration policy development having authored academic papers in conjunction with her post-graduate research on labour market mobility and in her capacity as Chair of the CERC Advocacy and Government Relations Committee. She is also serving her 8th year as an Executive Member of the Citizenship & Immigration section of Ontario Bar Association where she is Chief Editor of the newsletter Citizenship & Immigration and is a past Executive Member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (Canada Chapter) and the AILA National border sub-committee. An expert on cross-border matters, Ms Berezowski has prepared briefs and testified before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Immigration on matters of immigration law and policy.
